Roland J. Green

A dependable hand at military SF and shared-world adventure, from starship squadrons to the world of Conan.

Roland J. Green was an American science-fiction and fantasy author and editor, prolific across original military SF and franchise adventure. His own work includes the Starcruiser Shenandoah series and the Peace Company novels of future soldiers, while he also wrote widely in shared worlds — Conan novels, Dragonlance, and collaborations including volumes in Jerry Pournelle's Janissaries series.

Green wrote brisk, action-driven adventure with a strong grasp of military structure and combat, comfortable both inventing his own settings and playing in established ones. Expect tactical action, soldierly camaraderie, and propulsive storytelling. His science-fiction titles, original and tie-in alike, appear across our catalogue. As always, the individual book pages are the best guide to each title's setting, tone, and content — every entry content-rated and age-guided so you know exactly what you're getting into before you start.
