Synopsis

WILLIAM WESTERLEIGH believes that he is all alone in the world - until he receives a letter from his late grandfather, Charles, urging him to discover the Secret of Time. With self-absorbed parents at home who barely notice him, and bullies at school who notice him far too much, William - or Billy as he likes to be called - leaves London to attend St Bartholomew's School, where he follows clues to find the Secret Time Tunnel. He has never met a Gobswobble, seen a Litagon or Litamite whizz past his eyes, or ever travelled through time. His grandfather's destiny however, is to go into the future and save the world from Abaddon, an evil dictator ... and this must become William Westerleigh's destiny too.
