Synopsis

The Unholy War is a historical fantasy set during Operation Barbarrossa, the German invasion of Russia in June of 1941. It is a fast-paced tale about a squad of soldiers racing across the Baltic States toward Leningrad. The squad is held together by the main character, Sergeant Wolfgang Steiner, and Corporal Fritz Schumann. These two drive their companions forward through one difficulty after another. These Special Forces are wrapped up in the epic struggle of the Russian Front and the drive for Leningrad in 1941. As part of the assault force, these specialized troops are given unusual tasks: from securing bridges and deep reconnaissance to fighting the undead-zombies, werewolves and vampires. This novel is filled with action and the supernatural. The climax comes when the squad wages an epic battle against all forces in the Winter Palace.
