Synopsis

The one who holds the Crucible has control. The Crucible of Tira Miron is one of the holiest relics of the Church of the Silver Flame, and a symbol of the Church's power in Thrane. When two rivals of that power infiltrate the Church to seize the relic, it's as much a race to catch the thieves before the Crucible slips away as it is a race to seize the artifact and all the power it implies. A fast-paced fantasy set in the world of Eberron , Edward Bolme's first trilogy picks up with characters from his previous novels in a whole new adventure.
