Synopsis

A strange planet called Galaxus after the astronomer who discovers it, begins to orbit the Sun in the same path followed by Earth. Years pass, however, without incident and most people accept Galaxus as a harmless intruder in the Solar System. But the US Army creates a fleet of Red Dart fighters capable of interplanetary flight and armed with laser cannons. A sudden attack on a small American town convinces the military that the threat from Galaxus is real and the Earth launches its own counterstrike force led by the Starship Sphinx and the Fleet of Red Darts.
