An old prophecy warns of disaster. But in what form? Persius, King of the Jethrik keeps having confusing, prophetic dreams that even the wizard Hellibolt can't interpret, but it's clear Persius is being pulled towards the Kartik. Tarius and Jena are given the one thing they thought they'd never have, but will it bring them great blessing or will it be a curse? Jestia has grown in power and knowledge, but both have come at a price. The fate of the very island lies in her hands, but to do what must be done she will have to risk more than just her own life. When those who have always lived by the sword must combat an enemy without a face, will they have the skills to save the day or will all perish from the wrath of the Nameless One? And once they have been nowhere will they be able to return to the lives they know or be forever torn from all that they love?
