Sir Gawain is lying feverish and wounded in his tent outside of Lancelot's castle. As he dies, he tells his young squire the stories of the rise and fall of the noble knights of the round table. Gawain tells of Arthur's boyhood and of the wonderful moment when the young King drew the magic sword from the stone and claimed his kingdom.
