Deep in the Dorset country-side a peace-loving community of Red squirrels flee from the relentless menace of the Silver Tide - the Grey squirrels who, with their knowledge of numbers and the control of the Stone Force, are colonizing the country. But Marguerite the Bright One, Oak the Cautious, Tamarisk the Tactless and the other Reds have their own resources.
