In South America, an eccentric Dutch professor visits a refuge for the insane and the idealistic, run by a millionaire. The mixed population includes Spanish conquistadors, Leo Tolstoy, Aztec Indians, Nazi war criminals, all co-existing happily in enforced harmony. A metaphysical fable.
