The townsfolk of Whitehope have been guarding a secret for 28 years. Four teenage boys accidentally discover a strange door in a closed mine, which unknown to them, is the resting place of the secret. Unable to continue they promise to return the following weekend. Through their investigations they discover hints to what the secret may be and that the story they've grown up with is all a cover up. Teaming up with two girls from school and a journalist, they set out to find the truth of the secret.
