The Visitor juggernaut has been slowed by a toxin that is fatal to the reptilian invaders while not harming Earth life. But the Visitors strike into the Pacific Northwest--intent on defeating their enemy and killing Ruth, a free-spirited artist, and Hadad, a Visitor opposed to their invasion, who are the only ones who can stop the final Visitor victory.
