Synopsis

In the mid 1930’s a group of archeologists discover the remains of an ancient school on the Isle of Man. A school created for the study of the arcane. The archeologists unwittingly release an ancient evil back into the world of man. An evil spirt enters and takes control of the body of a young woman, Marion Johnston. The evil spirt escapes from the school and seeks revenge against those who imprisoned her in the depths of the school. Only Bill Books, a member of the archeological team, is spared. He is turned to stone by the now evil Marion Johnston. She leaves Bill Books as a warning to those who she knew would follow her trail. The last of the Order of the Magi, Myrddin Ab Morrfryn, is awaken from his long sleep and called forth to find and destroy the evil woman. But, it will not be easy for many years has passed since Marion Johnston left the ancient school. The old Magi must call upon the Kybile, a magical people, to help him in his task. The Kybile are members of a people that lived in the world before the coming of human civilization. Along with a resurrected Bill Books the group searches for evil woman. Only the power of the Mi’Jhia Amulet will destroy the evil thing inside Marion Johnston. But, the group discovers that Marion Johnston has left the Isle of Man and travelled to the far off city of New York City. The Magi, Bill Books, and the small folk of the Kybile must find a way to travel to New York. But, the world of man has changed. A world war is beginning to engulf mankind. The group, with the help of their magic, is able to make their way to New York City; where they are forced to confront Marion Johnston and her gangsters at the New York World’s Fair. The Mi’Jhia Amulet is 79,000 words in length and contains an active Table of Contents.
