On the run from the U.S. Army, Joshua Webb and Boston Corbett, the man who shot John Wilkes Booth, return to the town of Paradise, Colorado in hopes of revealing the truth about the Lincoln Assassination. But agents of The Society of the Cincinnati are already at work in Paradise and have taken Webb's daughter and his lover captive. Will Abby Webb and the Widow McLarty be able to escape the same fate as the sixteenth president or will their tale end in tragedy? This story is the second part of the tale begun in The Man Who Shot John Wilkes Booth, Part I.
