Synopsis

The lore singer falls silent, the fire dies and the coals grow black. Still there remains a promise of something more, a gentle admonition of "Ah, another time... another time, perhaps in the morning." Hear how the listeners beg for just a little more. A story must inevitably come to its end, but no, not just yet. Night approaches as it must but no good tale can be silenced by mere darkness. It is sometimes in the wee wakeful hours when the best of the tales begin to streak down in fierce points of glittering light, like stars falling from the sky. So the story goes on as the Bean and his "family" struggle to survive the challenges they face in the world of the Broken Moon.
