Synopsis

In the heart of Gearford, magic intertwines with machinery, and a kingdom's fate rests on the shoulders of an unlikely hero. Finn Rowan, once a powerless orphan, now possesses the Clockwork Heart-a mechanical marvel granting extraordinary abilities at a steep cost. Six months after his near-death experience, Finn struggles to master these new powers, including the ability to perceive arcane energies invisible to others. When shadowy figures infiltrate Gearford and steal a powerful artifact, Finn embarks on a deadly chase. Aided by his mentor, Eldric Varrow, and Archmagister Alaric Thorne, Finn pursues the thieves across forgotten ruins and uncovers secrets that challenge his understanding of magic itself. Meanwhile, Alaric journeys to Ravenshade, seeking the lost pages of the Aetheric Codex to thwart their old enemy, Magnus Valtor. As danger mounts, Finn must decide how much he's willing to sacrifice to protect everything he holds dear-and prevent darkness from engulfing their world.
