He thought he could forget the stories about the Stone that had kept him awake and trembling all all night long. But then he found the old leather book with yellowing pages written by old witch and learnt the full horror - that as the shadow of the Stone grew longer, so the evil would grow. Three people would die and he would be one of them. And as he looked out of his window he saw the lengthening shadow of the Stone slowly reaching out towards his farm.
