Synopsis

A high-octane military science fiction thrill ride featuring power armor, betrayal, and gritty realistic action. One man. One suit. One last stand. Master Sergeant Jack Busker is a phantom on the 25th-century battlefield. As the leader of the elite Specter strike team for Leroux’s Legion, he pilots the Mk 38 Specter Suit—a 345-kilogram armored exoskeleton that melds man and machine with chameleon stealth, jump jets, and state-of-the-art sensors. But on the planet Abbott 2, even the most advanced military technology couldn't prevent a knife in the back. Sold out by their own clients, the Savarshi Fellowship, the Legion is led directly into a slaughter at the hands of the ruthless Hanson’s Hammers. With his mentors dead and the Legion’s remains absorbed into the very outfit that destroyed them, Jack is left with a choice: serve a butcher or vanish into the stars. Jack chooses exile on the remote mining world of Mephisto, trading his laser carbine for a mining suit in hopes of finding a peaceful life. But the galaxy is smaller than he thinks. When Schoenbeck Interstellar Enterprises hires Hanson’s Hammers to seize Mephisto's mineral wealth, Jack’s old life comes crashing back down in a storm of orbital drops and heavy armor. To save his new home and the woman he loves, Jack must take command of a green planetary militia and turn a handful of modified mining suits into a force that can bleed a heavy armored regiment. From the claustrophobic darkness of subterranean tunnels to high-intensity ambushes in mountain canyons, the battle for Mephisto is on. The Legion is dead. Long live the Mephisto Legion. Experience the start of an epic Military Sci-Fi series featuring high-stakes power armor combat and a mercenary who refuses to break. Perfect for fans of Starship Troopers , Galaxy’s Edge , and MechWarrior .
