Manned ExtinctionBertolli was there when the Pericles returned to Earth. He was the first to reach Commander Rand as he staggered, hideously disfigured & close to death, from the crew's cabin. From that moment, Dr. Bertolli became the front line of defence against a savage epidemic that threatened to extinguish life on earth.
