Synopsis

Lucian Taylor, a sensitive and reclusive young man, discovers an ancient Roman fort in the Welsh countryside. There, amidst the ruins, he experiences mysterious visions that profoundly alter the course of his life. As Lucian struggles to reconcile his dreamlike experiences with the harsh realities of the world, he retreats further into his own mind, seeking solace and inspiration in the mystical visions that haunt him. His passion for the occult and the literary arts eventually leads him to London, where he struggles against poverty and the dark imaginings that threaten to consume him. As his passion threatens to develop into obsession, Lucian must find the line between art and madness.
