Synopsis

A dark power threatens to engulf Krystyna's world and destroy its environment and its people. From a castle far from Krystyna's home, the evil power sends out emissaries of darkness and destruction--even commanding forces of nature to create devastating storms. At the castle itself, black legions guard a small, magic box crafted by an ancient wizard, a box containing powers that, if unleashed, will drown the world in darkness. In frightening circumstances, Krystyna undertakes a perilous journey to the castle. She carries the golden key to the wizard's magic box, a key Krystyna has possessed from the time she was a baby and stolen away from her mother by her nurse. Krystyna has only courage, quick wits, a belief in good, and the assistance of her best friend to help her overcome the formidable obstacles that stand between her and the castle. But will those be enough to insure success?
