Synopsis
A new threat rises from the Empire. One from within their own ranks. Is this threat more dangerous than even the Jatarians? Andrew begins work with the Federation weapons team on the further development of a weapon that the Lormallians had given them back when the alliance with the Lormallians was forged. Andrew had halted the project when faced with numerous setbacks. Now with the help of the Federation weapons team, can they finish the designs and bring the weapon to development in time to save the Empire? Realizing its power and ability to change the course of this war, the weapon seems to be the Empire’s last hope. Or will this weapon be the catalyst to something darker? Will the Solar System send reinforcements to help aid the Empire in its fight against the Jatarian invasion? Will these reinforcements arrive in time? Or will they find only death and destruction upon their arrival?
