Imagine finding someone's diary inside of a tree that was hollow! That is exactly what happened to Trot while she was exploring Oz with Cap'n Bill and the Sawhorse. But moments later, she was turned into a statue made of stone by a powerful protection spell that had been placed on the diary by the Wicked Witch of the East long before she was crushed by Dorothy's house. Can anyone in Oz release poor Trot from this enchantment, or will she stay a mere statue forever? Lots of black and white illustrations. Ages 8-12
