Agent Natan vanishes after saving the word in 2012. After five long years, she is called back from Ether with the help of her team in 2017, finding her way back to her life, the N.S.A., and her love who started this journey with her in 2006, Professor Joshua Sails. As the world copes with varying crises, a tumultuous political landscape, and the emergence of AI, Natan and her team investigate the Mandela phenomenon to ensure that a new apocalyptic scenario is not imminent on the horizon again. The team finds more than they bargain for in their attempt to navigate global and collective alignment.
