In her Glastonbury home, a 13-year-old girl discovers the brutally murdered bodies of her family. Chief Superintendant Laverne and DI Savage find their efforts to solve the murder hampered by the obstructive behaviour of their hosts. Meanwhile, a second family is slaughtered.
