When Ricky and Joanna left to spent the summer with Uncle Hubert and his family, they'd never heard about his amazing window which led to the Country Without a Name. There was no question that they'd want to go there, but before they left, they were warned that they must come back with everything they'd taken with them or they could never again quite rejoin their world. That's what happened to Emmeline, just ten years ago, who'd left a turquoise there. Now only Ricky and Joanna were young enough to retrieve it, if they could.
