Synopsis
What happens when an artificial intelligence installs a buggy upgrade? Thomas, the artificial person serving as assistant director of EarthCent Intelligence, has a side gig as the leading beta tester for QuickU. After installing the recreational noir detective upgrade, his artificial intelligence starts flashing warning signs that something isn’t right. Henry and Belladonna are yanked out of their comfortable jobs as undercover agents on Farling Four and find themselves reassigned to the dangerous world of antiques. Jonah, the twin brother of newly-minted Empress Vivian, finds himself acting as a go-between for the Drazen manager of InstaSitter and the cover model for his mother’s newly acquired alien romance series, while his wife, Sephia explores a career change.
