Synopsis

Sonks! Unsheath and prepare for some classic fantasy. Fight, feast, ay! and fornicate through a fantasy world of slashing sword play and space adventure, introducing one of fantasy fiction’s most unlikely heroes, Squat. From 1958 through to the early 70s David Rome, real name David Boutland, wrote pulp novels, science fiction and fantasy, hundreds of pulp crime stories, plus action comics. His science fiction and science fantasy stories have been anthologized in Britain, the U.S.A. and in Australia. Squat first appeared as a paperback novel in1970. As the print pulp markets dwindled, Boutland went on to write television drama scripts and soaps under his own name for another forty years. He is living, and still writing, on Australia’s east coast. Return to New Worlds, a collection of his short science fiction published in the sixties and seventies, plus brand new stories, is on line as an e-book on Amazon Kindle.
