Synopsis

Imagine the day, in the not too distant future, when we are routinely roaming the solar system, with missions, crew, stations and ships, spread out across the planets and moons. This book is about a figurative day in the life in that context. The Outer Solar System, or OSS as we refer to it here, an Enchanted Realm it is, with Giants of Gas, and Satellite Worlds of ice, hydrocarbons, rocks, and magic. This story occurs there in those regions, starting out at a settlement near Titan, and a mission that takes us beyond Pluto, to the very outer limits of the solar system. OSS Detail, so to speak. The story takes us through the thrill ride of station life, technical extravaganzas, and incredible orbital trips.Considering the fascination of picturing a future mission, which is the shared dream of everyone who loves SF, this book aims to add a dab to this picture, to the drawing out of the details of what it means, to spend several earth years out in space. If you love SF, you will love this book. There are three crewmembers and a ship in the mission, whose journal this narrative is. The characters at several of the stations situated at various outposts in the sol family add the human color and dash to the story.
