In 1984, Samantha Hunt leaves St. Louis for a simpler life. Although her decision causes friction in her marriage, she moves into her country dream home with her two daughters. Shortly after taking up residence she begins to suspect that they are not living there alone. Plagued by eerie dreams and visions, she believes there is a ghost and the vivid nightmares expose the story of a century old mystery that involves various members of the community. What is the secret and why do they seem reluctant about revealing the truth?
