The year is 1956 and young Collin Parker is accustomed to living a small-town life of insignificance. His hopes for escape from boredom and monotony are answered one night on a dark and desolate highway. In a most painful and terrifying union, Collin becomes the host of a probe from another world and time. Programmed with the intelligence and purpose of the one who sent it, Collin not only inherits great powers from his new companion but an internal urge to do its bidding. When his new abilities are exposed, Collin quickly becomes a hunted man on a quest for answers. When suddenly transported to an ancient world, Collin's questions are finally revealed -- but he finds the truth a burden quite hard to bear.
