Raben, a thief and murderer, steals his way into a holy quest, unknowingly taking possession of a sword that grants immortality if the bearer can kill the innocent. The powerful Guild directs him through their beautiful elven handler, who appears to share his fate. He is ordered to subvert a holy quest and to steal its prize.
