The full moon flooded the room. It was still dark when the alarm went off adding to the hypnotic melody of the rain hitting the window. Mac hated driving to work when it was still dark out. Traffic was always heavy and the rain didnat help matters much. Living on the west side of the mountains was, at some level, like surviving the throes of the rainforest. There was no area in the whole of the continental United States which received more rain. However, at one time, even with the heavy rain it was probably an easy drive. Of course that was before the university was built, which added greatly to the overcrowded highways.
