Driven from their ancestral lands when the U.S. discovered uranium there, the Apaches declared war--even though it meant facing the overpowering might of the U.S. Army. Washington had trouble already in New Mexico. Ross Prager, charismatic head of the vocal Posterity Party, was in hiding there, lying low while the government tried to bury his reforms--and Ross.
