Simon & Schuster, 1952. Hardcover with dustjacket, 1st edtion. First published as a serial in Astounding Magazine in 1952, then published in book form the same year. "Cyril Judd" is a pseudonym of C. M. Kornbluth and Judith Merril. "Gunner Cade is a minor classic if science fiction, notable for the "hero's journey" of its soldier main character. Dated, certainly, but worth a read. This first edition is collectible when found with a nice dustjacket.
