Synopsis

Something is butchering the children of Rita's town. First Rita's next door neighbor is found, his face caved in and his neck snapped. Then a school bus of children sails off a cliff's edge; a bystander swears that someone purposefully jumped out in front of it causing the driver to swerve. One by one the children die, and only Rita knows why… It had happened weeks before: Rita was down by the creek when the boys caught up to her. They held her down, tore her blouse and threatened to do nasty things. Then Rita thought of her grandfather, and how he had always protected her when he was alive. But now it seemed as though Grandfather had somehow cheated death, and was killing each of the boys who was in the woods that night. With no one to believe her, Rita sought the advice of Old Lady Howard. She believed in magic, maybe she'd believe Rita. But when the girl heard Mrs. Howard's story about Grandfather and his demonic bargain, it was Rita's turn not to believe…
