Synopsis

Catchcage, first of the habitats of the LeGrange League, where everyone was a prophet or a madman. Only Catchcagers risked the annual ore pod journey through vacuum to a frightening face-off with death. Victory conferred a unique power recognized throughout the League. Defeat meant either horrible doom or blessed madness. But taking the pods to the End of the Sky took on a whole new meaning when three special Catchcagers; Beyar, Push, and Chancey; faced the challenge of this ritual ride. For they were fated to become the crucial players in a game even deadlier than sky riding, a game where there were no rules—and success could sow the seeds of interstellar revolution!
