The year is AD 3052 and the world is in its dying throes. The thick yellow, polluted air can no longer sustain life. Apart from a few domed cities, starvation and disease have allowed only grotesque mutants to roam the earth's putrid surface. Now those remaining in the protected cities are also in great danger. In a last desperate bid to save the expiring planet, a scientist, a general, a soldier and a young girl set off on an incredible journey. Drawn mysteriously under a long dead sea where they meet the three hundred million year old Hydra. As the keeper of the world, he alone holds the key to the future but needs human help if he is to complete his great quest on earth... Beneath this unusual and compelling story lie the great controversial issues of religion and science, faith and non-faith, which the author explores in imaginative and telling detail.
