The UK learns of a Soviet military project which, if completed, would guarantee them strategic superiority in the Cold War. The decision is made to drop a single nuclear weapon on the Soviet's underground research facility in Siberia, where the technology is being developed. The risk of course is that the Soviets would retaliate on a much larger scale, thus precipitating World War III.
