Synopsis

Silver Ainsley wanted to be the first linguist to decipher the mysterious ancient manuscript that stumped the world's brightest minds. It seemed to call to her. No longer able to resist its magnetic pull, she steals it, hoping to reveal its meaning. But Silver learns that it calls to others as well. Particularly the glowing pale blue-eyed Sidhe Warrior that crashed through the door demanding the manuscript. When other nightmarish creatures surface, hell-bent on killing her, Silver realizes her only hope of surviving lies with the sensual detached warrior, Quaede. She finds herself thrown into a paranormal war that could wipe out mankind. Her greatest fear is not the dark unholy creatures that hunt her, or the impending end of man; but the dawning realization that she has fallen for a supernatural being without the ability to love.
