A deadly menace lurks in the depths of the James River. A woman, not human. She hunts men and feeds on them. When Jake and his best friend, Monty, go for a swim in the river, Monty becomes the creature’s lunch. Jake is left to mourn the loss of his friend, but soon discovers grief is the least of his worries. He, too, is being hunted, and he must find a way to stay alive while he searches for the creature and a way to kill her.
