The alien pilot Indiw has worked alongside humans in the Pit Bull Squadron for years, though it is in his Adr blood to kill any being within his boundaries. Through discipline, he has repressed his hunting instinct and become a hero among humans. Back on Adr, Indiw is free to kill invaders . . . until a Pit Bull pilot crashes on his land.
