Synopsis

From the moment he boards a mysterious bus marked ECSTASY, Dan Slam's life will never be the same. Whisked away to a fantastic alternity called Ovula, he meets the gorgeous (and naked) Vangi who convinces Dan to join her on a search for a mythical object of great and pungent power. The scene shifts back and forth in time and space from Cleveland, Ohio to Ovula as the mounting mystery, murder, action and shrimp intensifies in an epic, crazed conflict of good versus evil. Dan and Vangi encounter a colorful and dangerous cast of characters including the deadly Lemon People, the Dread Chowder Turks, The Man Of Whom To Which Pain Is Nothing, the evil and cunning Lord Draegon and the fearsome monster Boofalo himself! Their epic journey takes them from The Metagorical Mountains to The Ancient Caves Of Endless Percussion, from the bubbling mud pot caverns of the Tiger Ants into an inescapable Wheezer Sink Hole! Boofalo! is a hilarious, exciting, entertaining fantasy! Take Stephen King and Billy Crystal, put them both in a really large blender, throw in some issues of Mad and Playboy magazines and hit 'puree' and you've got Boofalo! As well as endless legal troubles as you've just killed two celebrities and ruined several leading periodicals.
