THE IMPOSSIBLE TAKES A LITTLE LONGER The end of the world of Essa was at hand- unless someone could get through the deadly Shield and rescue an ancient Crystal, the source of all Essa's energy. But the secrets of the Shield were long lost. The lizard-people of Essa had no way to turn it off—and no way to get through alive. Once again the Jassans needed Harry Borg to save them from catastrophe. For whoever controlled the Crystal would control all of Essa. And the Ussirs, sworn enemies of the Jassans, had drafted the evil human Ahmed 1-lassad into their plot to get the Crystal. Harry Borg had to get through the Shield and reach the Crystal before Hassad. Harry's Jassan friends were depending on him. But the task was impossible—and the penalty for failure was death!
