Opening with a fight between the Azrael, the Angel of Death, and Beelzebub, Lord of the Flies, for the soul of the great writer August Strindberg. Beelzebub wins and Strindberg, dead in 1912 is brought back to life in 1961 to become the lover of Mrs Nilson, his housekeeper.
