Synopsis

For Dr Philip Hunter Destiny, this should have been a quiet week-end retreat amid the peaceful Norfolk countryside. Engaged upon research into the strange realms of paranormal phenomena, hag-ridden by the Man from the Ministry, daunted by a constant insufficiency of funds, the last thing he wanted was more "aggro". Much less was he prepared for the weird enigma of a phantom horseman, ball lightning, or for the mundane unpleasantness of threats from a gang of ton-up hooligans with a collective death wish. Against scientific logic, he searched for answers to uncanny problems in the tomb of a Satan-worshiping nobleman who had died violently two hundred years ago.
