Synopsis

Set adrift in a lifepod when her parents' spaceship was attacked, an infant girl was rescued by three human asteroid miners who named her Acorna for her silvery hair, her oddly shaped fingers and toes, and the adorable hornlike bump in the middle of her forehead. As she grew and developed amazing talents, Acorna was catapulted into a series of dangerious and exciting adventures. Acorna, the unicorn girl, must undertake her most serious mission yet -- a journey to find her beloved lifemate Aari. On the jungle world of Makahomia, home of the mysterious Temple Cats, she will discover an evil conspiracy that reaches far into space -- and an ancient secret that could lead her to Aari ... or to disaster.
