Jones Planet wasn't the best place to be stranded with a broken drive unit. But Richard Argyle didn't know how bad it really was until a stranger contacted him with a curious proposition. For it was a proposition that put a price on his head and made him the center of the death struggle between Earth and the great interstellar Traders. Argyle didn't know what made him so important to the most powerful men in the Galaxy. He didn't know why he was dangerous enough to be mercilessly hunted.
